The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel de Garabandal Inc. is a non-profit religious organization founded in 1968 by Joseph Lomangino and continuously located in Lindenhurst, New York USA.
The mission of the Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is to promote the Message of Our Lady of Mount Carmel given at at San Sebastian de Garabandal in Spain on October 18,1961 and June 18, 1965.
The Message of Garabandal consists of:
- Personal conversion to live according to the Gospel in a spirit of prayer, sacrifice and penance
- Love of Jesus Christ really present in the Eucharist
- Prayer for priests
- Reconstitution of lives around the sacraments and devotion to the rosary and the scapular
- Obedience to lawful Church authority
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel are Roman Catholics operating in deference to our local Bishop and faithfully obedient to our Holy Father Francis, his predecessors and successors.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel believe the spectacular events and prophesied phenomena which have and will occur at Garabandal are meant to give credibility to this Message just as the miracles of Jesus Christ gave authority to His words.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel await the conclusion of these events by the fulfillment of the prophesied Warning and Miracle.
We will accept the official position of the Church on these matters when it is pronounced. Until that day, we continue this promotion in perseverance and prayer with great love for the Church and respect for her deep wisdom in these affairs.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel believe Our Lady appeared to give a message to a world on the brink of self-destruction…a world in crisis. The events of our time call for a persistent and faithful commitment to make the Message known as Our Lady requested.
With this prayerful perseverance we ask Almighty God, through the intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Michael the Archangel for the conversion of sinners, the sanctification of priests, the liberation of the souls in purgatory, and the strengthening of the Church.
We ask through the prayers and works of all who love Our Lady, that the prophesied, conditional chastisement be averted.
