A MESSAGE FROM JOEY LOMANGINO

Holy Thursday 2007

Dear Friends,

On the evening of the Last Supper, Jesus, gathered with his apostles in the Upper Room, instituted the Holy Eucharist and established the sacrament of Holy Orders – the sacred ministry of priesthood.

On this Holy Thursday, we wish to commemorate these sacraments which are at the heart of the Message of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel de Garabandal. During her visits to the four young girls from 1961 to 1965, Our Lady emphasized the great importance of these sacraments and encouraged all of us to pray for priests and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently.

We invite you to follow the links below to our website, www.garabandal.us. You will find two brilliant articles which are written by two priests who were close to the events and the promotion of the Message. These articles which were originally published in GARABANDAL Magazine (1972-2002) offer insightful reflections on the importance of these sacraments as enlightened by Our Lady’s words and instructions to the visionaries. We hope that reading and reflecting on these timeless lessons will deepen your Lenten meditations today and in the days to come.

It is one of the great joys of my work for Our Lady that I have been able to know and work closely with these brilliant and holy priests. For this I am grateful to God.
