Joey Lomangino
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel de Garabandal INC. is a non-profit, tax exempt, religious organization incorporated in 1968 by our founder, Joey Lomangino of Lindenhurst, New York. The purpose of the Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is to promote the messages of Our Lady given during her alleged apparitions at San Sebastian de Garabandal, Spain (1961-1965). Over thirty years ago, a young Spanish visionary named Conchita gave Joey Lomangino a card with the Garabandal Message written on it. She asked him, "Will you do it sir, and tell others to do it? Joey Lomangino replied, "Yes". He believes this is Our Lady's Message and he has never turned his back on her. It was the first of the apparitions of Garabandal. Further apparitions of Garabandal occurred over the next several days.
